WenWords...Lies, Outrageous Lies

Danny burst through his apartment door, staggering and dripping from rain.  He stripped down naked.  He wanted to be cold, so cold that every part of his body shivered. Freezing cold.

Danny had flown headfirst into a relationship with Kerry, lovely lovely Kerry. Then he quickly discovered Kerry was superb at creating an intricate windmill of lies

These were so perposterous, linked together with a weaver's skill. Each lie was more elaborate than previous ones. Only Kerry could make her deception an art form.

Yes, Danny wanted to shiver, freeze to excape Kerry's windmill.

WedWords were first created years ago by Delores.  She did great battles with her computer and then took time to heal.  Delores can be found in Google Plus, writing and enjoying herself.

For the month of September, Elephant's Child will host wonderful words provided by Margaret Adamson and friend Sue. Go to E.C. and see what others have written, and feel the urge to join this entertaining time.

Torch in a Dark Fount

White Crocus Flower - Free High Resolution Photo
Such fragility

Finn struggled with creating meaning narrative in his latest book, Torch a the Dark Fount.

Liam carefully spread his own shawl upon….

Who? Why would he “spread” any shawl upon…? Delete…delete…

Liam grasped his knife and savagely shred the silken shawl ….

A little better….type, type…

Liam presented a fragile white crocus dipped in enemy blood to Warrior Queen Maeve.

Ah, much better, Finn decided.  With a chest filled with pride, he headed to his kitchen.

He did not push save, something he would regret in a few hours.

Wednesday Words  were started by Delores, after battling her computer.  She can be found on Google +.  September words can be found on Elephant's Child.  Please visit her site and meet other participants.

I know these are last week's words, but I liked them and we did not return from our trip until Friday. :-] This week's words will appear on Monday!

He strikes again.

He's back.
A brutal scene greeted Det. James.  Blood splattered everywhere, gruesome and dark.  But, there were no bodies. None.

Det. James and Forensics scoured the house, gathering bits of evidence.  But, still there was nothing, no clues at all.  Packing up and walking out the door, Det. James was certain he had missed something.  But what?

Something from the patio caught his eyes.  Turning around, James saw the carcass of a bright yellow rooster.  Feathers littered the patio, a patch of yellow around the dead fowl.

Det. James shook his head.  “He’s back.  Rooster Man is back. Damn.”

This was posted in December 2015.  Had to be under 100 words.  Loved writing this.
