One who observes and thinks about what has been seen, what has passed by my way, what greater meaning lies behind and beneath life's small events.
From a person who can't draw a straight line: these are remarkable. Each is so different from the others. It is entertaining to view artists' works.
My skills are disappeared.
Took me a second to realize the woman was painted in the first one.
You have to seek out a documentary on this guy who tried to copy Vermeer's technique. It was fascinating. He managed to do it. It wasn't easy.
I will seek one out. Hard to imagine how anyone could paint as he does.
The three-dimensional oil paintings are interesting. I'd like to see how he makes them.
The time it would take to put those all together is hard to grasp.
Artists are amazing to me. The video is wild, and hard to imagine as it winds on.I have often wondered if successful artists had any specific training in art, or was it all simple in their DNA to naturally put things and colors together.....Love from out there.Sherry & jack
I have wondered that as well. Has to have a DNA connection.
Artists and their art is wonderful, and there is so much variety. All the best Jan
Now that museums are open, I will enjoy roaming the halls.
My hat is off to artists, that leaven was left out of my lump.
God give you other leaven.
I am absolutely wild about Archimboldo. I saw an exhibit once of his paintings and large sculptures based on them. It was brilliant. And you are SO right about color. I couldn't agree more.
First time I saw photos of his work, just blew me away.
I've got to admit, there are aspects of art- like that salad guy above- I will never get. I just accept there are those that will. Not everyone gets some of the things I like either.
Salad guy was incredible. How in the world he did all that!
Go ahead...it won' t hurt...I'd love to hear what you think!
