It is 93º outside and the time is 10:30 AM. By noon, 104 deg. is expected.
The end of July hovers in our roasting.
When life is unbearable in a California roasting oven, a CostCo or Sam's trip is required. It is air-conditioned.
The chilled fresh produce room can hold 20 people, easy. The chilled dairy products room can hold at least 50 people, as long as everyone keeps moving.
This was there…
And this was there…
There is hope after all.

Christmas stuff ALREADY? Yikes!
ReplyDeleteI want the jungle gym.
DeleteI am so not ready to even think about Christmas - but well know the delight of airconditioned venues in our summer. Which hopefully will be late and mild.
ReplyDeleteA/C is a gift.
DeleteWhaaat. Glad you had a cool place to to but what happened to Halloween and Thanksgiving??
ReplyDeleteHeh. We just skip those two holidays.
DeleteI'd complain about Christmas stuff being out, but I've started thinking about Christmas myself. I may start some projects this week...
ReplyDeleteWe are considering Christmas ornament.
DeleteClimate change has reached Siberia. I've heard forests are on fire there, temperatures as high as 38C degree
ReplyDeleteNot a good temperature.
DeleteI have been singing Carols already, and yep, I found my sister's Happy Halloween flag down stairs. Sort of a hint methinks.
ReplyDeleteYep we do think ahead ATTIMES!!!!
Love sent your way from the First coast, we were in the cool 90's with rain....
Sherry & jack
We will tell "okay Goggle" to start playing.
DeleteFunny, funny, funny.
ReplyDeleteThanks.
DeleteThere is always hope.
ReplyDeleteOh I hope so. It is stinkin' hot.
DeleteI think those stores are trying to promote thinking cool thoughts? Or, they are starting Christmas earlier each year? Alana ramblinwitham.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteIt is probably a little of both.
DeleteHey, what happened to Halloween? A little early for a snowman but if it was over 100 degrees I would ready for cold! We've had so much rain and I keep praying some of it along with cooler temps make it out West! Hopefully!
ReplyDeleteSend rain our way. Today it was 102, and I am so ready for winter.
DeleteIndeed, you do have to start planning early, even if you don't decorate until after Thanksgiving.
ReplyDeleteI am so ready.
DeleteI love Christmas. Christmas in July really is too early, but I'm still game. :)
