matter, back then, or in the here and now. We are not in charge. Man was never
in charge. We will never be in charge. And really, that is a good thing, since
man is famous-notorious-destined for messing things up.
All the
tragedies done by man are without number. But there is only ONE being who has not failed and left man, and that is Jesus.
He is perfect and never changing!

DeleteThis is a recent release, as in, just this summer, that's why many hadn't heard it before. Mr. Willams was recording it, and he heard where his producer had put a female country singer behind him, and he said that her voice reminded him of Dolly Parton, and would they be able to get her to make it a duet?
ReplyDeleteWell, they asked, and she said she'd been waiting for the opportunity to more Christian music, and she went for it.
The day i first heard it, i think it's the day of release, was the day this past summer when my Sweetie got our generator guy/handyman to "take a look at" the kitchen sink, and we ended up with water pouring out through the overflows and a broken water heater for the kitchen and no water at the sink. Driving home, i was feeling low and praying and this song came on and i snapped to attention knowing i was hearing Ms. Parton. Sure enough, i wept as i listened, and i knew everything was going to be okay.
We still don't have hot water in the kitchen except from the boiler, but other than that, all is well, and even that's not a catastrophe.
That song is precious to me.
God always gives us what we need.

So glad we can lean onto him and not unto our own understanding. He is always right on time. He is forever the artist and the orchestrator of our lives. So thankful for it too because as you said, we humans are not so great at orchestrating on our own. :)
