Have mercy on us all

We need mercy.  The world needs mercy.  Our country needs mercy.

Mercy comes from God, only.

 

I find myself saying randomly, "Lord, have mercy."  Every time I listen to the current events, that is what I say.  That, and

God help us.

  God, bring justice and honor to our country.

Jesus, come soon.  

 

Ode to Duct Tape

Duct tape, oh, glorious duct tape!

Thank you for

Saving lives. 

I saw the episode where Adam and Jaime used tons of Duct Tape to live on an island.

Humble and quiet,

Wrapping the world with your silver power

To hold it together.

Oh, there he is!

Damming water,

Sealing,

They know what they are doing.

Enclosing and healing, adhering.

You tear easily, yet you close tears.

Gratitude and praise

Yup.

We attribute and bestow to you,

Dear Duct Tape.

You are loved.

 A mother of two servicemen,

a drawing Vera wrote on her letter to FDR

A letter sent to thank Vera Stoudt for her ingenuity

She helped pack cartridges, noticed a flaw in safety

Vera Stoudt sent a request to President FDR on Feb. 10th., 1943, with an idea to seal ammo boxes that would save soldier lives. Her idea was acted upon, producing duct tape which has served that purpose and since become a part of almost every American home.

Oh boy howdy, over decades we have certainly saved a lot of money, time, and sobbing with duct tape.
