Bill 311-80 Congress which did not pass:

This bill establishes requirements for the degree of care a health care practitioner must exercise in the event a child is born alive following an abortion or attempted abortion. Formal description  Summary

A health care practitioner who is present must (1) exercise the same degree of care as reasonably provided to another child born alive at the same gestational age, and (2) immediately admit the child to a hospital. The bill also requires a health care practitioner or other employee to immediately report any failure to comply with this requirement to law enforcement.

A person who violates the requirements is subject to criminal penalties—a fine, up to five years in prison, or both.

Additionally, an individual who intentionally kills or attempts to kill a child born alive is subject to prosecution for murder.

The bill bars the criminal prosecution of a mother of a child born alive for conspiracy to violate these provisions, for being an accessory after the fact, or for concealment of felony.

A woman who undergoes an abortion or attempted abortion may file a civil action for damages against an individual who violates this bill. Information on Title 18 and S 311-80

Slaughter of the Innocents

Slaughter—that is what it is—slaughter.

The world news for the past week has been about slaughter of the innocent.

On MSNBC, commentators have spent a total of 41 minutes on Cecil the lion that was first shot by a cross-bow, tracked for some miles, and then killed by rifle.  His head was removed and he was skinned as trophies for the safari hunter. 

It is horrifying to think that a doctor would pay $100,000 for the privilege of having this experience.  Money for a life.

And then, there is the Planned Parenthood scandal.  MSNBC devoted 11 minutes on the sale of aborted baby organs and tissue.  Despite the covertly filmed discussions in a restaurant where negotiations over the sales were discussed, this is now being discussed as an assault on the right to privacy.  

Being that this all took place in a public venue, a restaurant, where every conversation can be heard, every table and occupants visible.

Finding a video on-line was an easy-to-find and nauseating experience.

Two doctors/technicians are pouring over two large petri dishes.  They are using tweezers to pull apart an 11 week aborted infant, setting aside the heart, brain, spinal cord, arms, legs, and more.  

These were placed in the next dish, clearly showing the above body parts, and speculating on the condition of the part and value. 

There is no way that I would post that video. But, I will display sonograms showing the babies at 11 weeks, 20 weeks, and 24 weeks.

Slaughter?

M-n Posts: Massacre, part 2--never seen

Massacre on a grand scale is brutal and grotesque.  It cannot be hidden or ignored.  The results clearly scar the world with undeniable evidence.

But, what about massacre that goes unseen, unrecognized?  The NEVER recognized massacres?  But they exist all the same.

One of the most debilitating and ultimately fatal diseases in the world is multiple sclerosis.  This is literally a systematic, massacre-like attack on the myelin lining of the nerves. 

A quiet disease it is.  A deadly and unrelenting disease it most certainly is.

Another massacre that exists on a grand scale, but which has created great debate is the destruction of newly-forming life: abortion. 

Politics being what they are and staunch personal beliefs collide here.  Is this simply a multi-cell organism that can be removed at the convenience of the female?  

Or

Is this a living baby with the potential to grow and become a fully functioning human being?

Since 1974, the number of abortions numbers in tens of millions.  If this were a massacre of an existing population, the outcry would be deafening.  (Note:  No photos will be shown here.  Statistics can be found by clicking on the underlined above.  Thanks.)

Finally, the massacre of our environment.  Environmentalists and scientists declare the massacre of threatened species cannot be reversed.
