Isaiah 30:21
Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying
This is the way.
Walk in it.
The Book of Isaiah is daunting reading. For years I have started reading and stopped after two chapters. Then, another few years later, I would pick up there and try for another two chapters. It wasn't until I tried reading it on Kindle that I could focus on His words given to the prophet Isaiah.
Much of scripture is like that for me. But in this case, I definitely give an AMEN to this Scripture and the post itself. It is good to be able to trust the right WAY, left or right.

ReplyDeleteRight or left, it's dangerous when people feel that they are justified by God, Divinity, or whatever you want to call it. More atrocities are committed because of it than anything else.

DeleteIsaiah has always been one of my favorites to read and I have memorized more verses out of it than any other book. I once was in an suv rollover accident, fliped 3 times. I was not injured but they could not transport me because my blood pressure was so high. she tole me that and said be right back, when she came back my bp was normal. she said what did you do? I said i quoted Isaiah 41:10 3 times out loud, and I said it to her. she looked shockes. of course the comfort chapters were what I loved, starting with 40 to the end, the first part was not that memorial.
