Fun visit I must say. I smiled big at the black tree. I could imagine the eyes as the lights, some blinking very slow.

ReplyDeleteI understand. When our children were young, the tree was in a fenced off place. Toddlers couldn't make headway.
DeleteSame here, the tree was inside the playpen while the toddlers roamed free.

DeleteI've never had a cat attack my tree, BUT one of my cats (DOG) I had when I moved to Wichita,broke open a gift under the tree I had wrapped for him that was catnip. He never got into any other gifts, just his. I laughed and learned my lesson. These are all SO cute.

DeleteBack when I was designing the beaded ornaments, you know, the ones I knit, I gave several testers to family. The ones I gave to my brother? Their cats ate them.

DeleteI have a friend who has two fluffy cats who love to tour her Christmas tree every year. One of the joys of Christmas is getting the video of their climb. I once had a small black kitten that we thought we lost. Never did we think to look on the tree, but there she was, all curled up and sleeping.

The trees become toys for the cats. I've never seen a cat ignore a tree ever and we had lots of cats through the years. :)

We just lost our Beloved Fur Baby Miss Priss right before Thanksgiving. Most of the Cats we've had really never bothered the Tree, but one did have a penchant for mischief and did knock the Tree over so while she was Alive we kept it wired to the Ceiling.
