A Continent on Fire

In 2014 this is what we watched from front porch.





This was about 20 miles away from us.



This photo shows what was left from a mountainside on the road up to Idyllwild.

We picked up this stone along the road.
Right now, Australia is burning. The outlying areas and cities are facing their own destruction. As yet, seventeen people have died. 500 million animals deaths predicted at this time.




Serious business, bushfires.   These sites are asking for donations to the Australia Red Cross. If you can and want to, this is the site to visit:

Watching the fire raging toward a place one loves is indescribable.
