| Oh, so true |
Huzzah! We have
changed residences! After a month of
painful effort and a fair amount of dedication, we sorted, tossed, culled, and packed, we now find
ourselves in our new home.
Not to say that we are completely unpacked and pristine, but there
is food in the fridge, dishes (those haven’t quite been unpacked). Wi-Fi and phone have been activated, Direct
TV has kept my husband sedated, and generally, a feeling of “home” permeates.
Despite the maze of boxes, this is home. More on this later.
Huzzah!
Congratulations on surviving the move! Hey, need that WiFi and Direct TV to feel like home.
ReplyDeleteAwesome that the main things are done, now you can just pick away and make it your own new bay.
ReplyDeleteIf it's already feeling like home, it must be a good move. Congrats. :)
ReplyDeleteWishing you much happiness in your new home. I actually dread moving, but then always so refreshed. It gives us a new perspective. Enjoy! x
ReplyDeleteHi Susan - congratulations ... I can completely agree with you - it's a nightmare, but good once it's sorted ... good luck for the final tidy up and sorting out ... and then enjoy it - cheers Hilary
ReplyDeleteGlad it feels good; that's important.
ReplyDeleteI am so very glad that it is already feeling like home.
ReplyDeleteI wish you much happiness in your new home.
ReplyDeleteThat picture says it all and I'm about to send it to my brother and his wife who are currently packing up to move.
ReplyDeleteIsn't it lovely when a new place feels like home very quickly?
Congrats on the move. Now you get to slowly get everything situated, but there'll be plenty of time for that.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on being at least somewhat settled in the new place!
ReplyDeleteWelcome home.
ReplyDeleteAhhhhhh....I bet that's a load off! :)
ReplyDeleteVery well written !
