Just when I am moaning about the 5 pounds gained from this health pandemic, the story of Chris-the-sheep from Australia captures my attention.
Choose which or all of these videos catch your interest. Each is about 1 minute long. How Chris the sheep survived for the 6 years in the wilderness is beyond understanding. At least, large predatory animals (like wolves) were unable to bite through the wool.
Chris died on Oct. 22, 2019. Age was estimated to be 10 years. Australia Shearing champion, Ian Elkins, stated that in all his 35 years of shearing, he had never seen something like this. It took 42 minutes, the depth of the wool was 18 inches,
