Welcome to yet another site of Wednesday Words! There have been some gifted writers who have provided challenging words to bloggers who would like to try something different!
First some history: Delores at Under the Porch Light started this meme ages ago but her computer rebelled.

DeleteTrigger was annoyed. All day long the whip descended on his flanks, the spurs dug in. When they came to the high fence at the great estate a light flickered in Triggers brain. The whip descended. Trigger balked. The horse came home alone.

DeleteSo where do the lonely people come from? An avenue of despair, where they cower with others out of the swim, eternally singing the same lonely dirge?
ReplyDeleteMars and Venus are so much closer than the planets of the lonely and of the charismatic. The lonely fold their dreams into tiny squares, and secrete them between the pages of the eternal notebook. Their entries are made in sepia.
The charismatic? Their dreams come with a musical soundtrack, backing vocals, and a firework display. Even the lonely can feel the warmth. Feel it, but never share it...
