No matter what you believe politically is not important here. What is decided for us to hear or not hear is not up to a news organization. Whenever these two definitions apply to what is being said, it should raise ones hackles.

i have said over and over that I miss the old days of news. the TV station did not take sides, or choose a party, they presented news and had to prove it was news. the problem with it now is everyone, including my husband, picks the channel that supports his beliefs and that is what he watches, it is a problem for sure

I agree with MadSnapper. What happened to presenting facts and not biased information? Mainstream media is so corrupt.

DeleteStands and claps! (well, sits and thinks about clapping!) But as I read back through Presidents like Polk, Garfield, and Arthur, I see nothing has really changed. They feed you what they want you to believe, you compare sources and try to make an informed judgment.
ReplyDeleteAt Lincoln's museum in Springfield, IL, there is a room where the walls are papered with editorial and caricatures of Lincoln. They ripped him to shreds with their opinions. It was the same then, but now social media now spread this stuff without consequences.

What's that silly statement about the internet? If it's on the internet it must be true...silly people! However, many folks believe that and jump to conclusions about things they have no idea if they are true or false...like Princess Kate for instance?
