Y is for Yellow Rolls Royce

Yellow Rolls Royce is a "composite" film about love and betrayal, abuse and redemption, and self-love converted to compassion. Through three sets of couples, the viewer follows the Yellow Rolls Royce over the years.

No, this is not "Chitty, Chitty, Bang, Bang", which is a children's movie, in which the car has magic.

This is a movie in which the owners experience life with the car as the common denominator.

There are some awesome actors in this movie: George C. Scott, Art Carney, Ingrid Bergman, Shirley Maclaine, Jeanne Moreau, Omar Sharif, and other actors whose names I didn't recognize.

about 100 words, maybe a little more

I was surprised because the cast of actors were so talented, the settings authentic, and I had never heard about this 1964 film.  And I enjoyed it.

    1. That was a great movie; still sing "Toot Sweet" and can see Dick Van Dyke dancing at the fair in my mind.

  8. They don't make them like these anymore. The flying lady set on top of that chrome plated radiator grill is beautiful. If I was standing beside her, I believe I'd see a reflection of myself in the coachwork.
