And the rolls keep coming in

Life is hard when you're lazy.
PInterest
Today I have watched Mythbusters, followed by Bourne: Supremacy. Currently, I am following Jurassic Park, which we have seen at least four times over the past four months. We have been watching Anime' Hunter X Hunter, we are now on episode 28.  By golly, I hope that Gon and Kurapika defeat Hisoka soon. I hate him so much.

Shortly after the toilet paper ravaging, someone mentioned that TP could be ordered online. So I did some researching and came up with some orders. What I ordered in March arrived in July.  The quality is quite different from Charmin's.

#1 from China, #2 Korea, #3 Charmin
Charmin, 2 ply
64 rolls, 3 ply
3 ply, Korean

Okay, the size differences we have clearly displayed. But, the important question is: which one is most absorbent, stronger?

The comparable sizes: #1 and #2 are the same size.  #3 Charmin is smaller.

The least absorbent is #3 Charmin. #1 also low absorbency.  #2 was excellent.

Good well-made product, Korea

Given my rigorous research, I guessing that we are set for four or more months. By then, who knows what product will find itself flying off the shelves.

This is such an odd choice of a post. But, the brain said "Why not? Why the heck not?" So, who knows what else will fly off my fingers.

  1. Sadly, the first four images didn't load.
Listen to your brain - and I for one enjoyed where it took you.
Toilet paper is available here again. At the moment. Masks are in short supply.

    1. I bought two fabric masks with a vent that filters and exhales air. Paper filters are provided. They are pretty comfortable, no fogging.

  2. It's always good to know which is the most absorbent toilet paper and which will disintegrate upon use. Most of your pictures didn't load, but I'll blame the virus for that. We don't currently have a TP shortage here, even with the state-next-door in the throes of a vicious second wave, people are not panic buying like they did first time around. I have noticed a lot less pasta on the shelves though. Possibly because of transport restrictions a lot of stuff isn't arriving daily like it used to. The trucks here get held up at our closed border so the drivers can be tested and the load checked for stowaways trying to sneak across the border.

    1. Pasta shelves are pretty empty. At first the rice was gone, but now there is some brands.Interesting.

  3. You should have ordered the TP and the perforations separately. It's cheaper too. The TP arrives first, and then the perforations come in a small plastic bag. You have to put the perforations on the TP in a line every so often to make up the sheets to the size you require.

    God bless.

  4. I actually like testing out products across brands. It is very interesting that the famous brand name product was the lease absorbent.

    1. The commercial states that Charmin is soft, easy on the butt. It says nothing about its effectiveness.

  5. Like others, I couldn't see a lot of your photos, but the ones I could see proved that there truly IS a difference in TP and the most expensive is usually the least effective. Great post.

    1. Error made in uploading photos took away the joy. Now bloggers are informed about purchases.

  8. We (not us) have scented perfumy tp, it stinks.

About the fine cost you asked about: The parking violation would cost in €150

  9. Sadly, I did not see any of your images.

I had to get TP from my father when the shut downs began, but since then I've been able to find it in stores. I'm not sure why that was such a hot item, but I hear Costco is out again. Sigh.

    1. The resurgent of the Covid may be that cause. There are rolls of tP in our local store, but with a limit of 2 pkgs per family.

  10. None of the pictures came up for me. Because I buy toilet paper from Sam's club I have had plenty. I probably won't have to buy any until next year.
