Mom, are you ready to be his friend?

Have you ever heard your parents arguing? How did you feel, what did you think?

This toddler is a well of wisdom. "We need everyone to be that person. We want everything to be as good as possible."

(This young lady will be seen in a few years as a U.N. Representative for the United States.)

  1. What an insight for a kid. There is something special in a little girl like this and the boy from Ireland yesterday (or the day before). The conversations are WAAAAY above their paygrade. LOL
Loved this. I NEVER heard my parents argue. BUT then they were in their upper 30s when I was born, they might have learned something by the 7th. Shamefully I am not sure my boys can say that, although we tried to shield them from OUR 'disagreements'.
    VERY GOOD

  2. What an insightful child. I was raised by grandparents and never, ever heard them argue. Guess I was one of the lucky ones.

    1. She spoke from the heart, expressing her love for them, and they should love each other.

  5. Out of the mouths of babes! This should wake up every adult who sees it. As little as she is she knows the poison of her parents arguing and that if she is exposed to it too long she stands in danger of being like them. Kindness begets kindness. It costs nothing and gives so much.

  7. Yes it does she has a unique gift of knowing what it means to be good because she wants to share love with other human beings. I was stunned listening to her.

  8. What an amazing child! I only recall hearing my parent's raised voices once. Later, when I said something to my mother she explained they were having a 'spirited debate.' Ha!

  10. I never heard my parents arguing. They must have had their differences because they split up when I was seven and divorced when I was eleven, but I never heard any fighting.
The little girl is very eloquent.

  11. What a little sweetheart! She's right. When people smile it makes everything better! If she ever runs for president she'll have my vote!

  13. What a child! Her parents may argue once in a while, but they did something right if their girl understands these things.
