Bad Movies: Gotta love 'em

Bad Movie Blues | EVER WATCH A CRAPPY MOVIE AND THINK; IF IT HAD A DECENT PLOT, TALENTED ACTORS AND A GREAT DIRECTOR IT MIGHT HAVE BEEN GOOD? | image tagged in memes, philosoraptor, bad movies, wasting time | made w/ Imgflip meme maker

Three months have passed and good entertainment is limited.  BUT, there are still movies few have seen.  The worst film titles with their movies are worth a giggle. And Lord knows that we all need to have some of a chuckle, giggle, or wonder.
Saving the World
My husband is veritable encyclopedia of awful movies with their awful titles. When we trolled through his knowledge, I discovered a treasure trove of really bad movies.

Warrior Nun
Strives to kill.
She came from where
She is Surrounded by Death.

Hardcore Henry
Fighting AKAN
Alive but dead
Finding his way home.

Thong Girl
Battling a villain
vs. Xalta
Where to destroy?
In Outer Space.

Snakes
Seeking food
On a plane.
Who dies?
Who wins?

I actually loved
this. Samuel L.
Jackson
Birdemic
Shock and terror
Cringe and gasp
It is what it is.

The Constant Gardener
Seeks with shears,
Sun goes down,
No one is safe.

Look and you will find them, sadly, but grab some popcorn, beer, and lots of wine. Darkness will fall, life goes on. Good or bad movies, they are all the same. Give your mind a rest.

  1. Nah, not for me.
I am a reader rather than a watcher.
Himself really likes the bad chopstick kungfu movies though.

    1. My husband is the instigator of our watching those movies.

  2. I really, really hope you watched Birdemic with the help of RiffTrax! That is without a doubt the worst movie in the world.
In August I will be reviewing a couple movies that are new. So far two good and one dud.

    1. Birdemic + RiffTrax = crazy good. Will try to find it. Things in theaters might make that rough.

Let us all know how they are.

  3. The only one I saw was The Constant Gardener and I don't remember a thing about it, good or bad.

    1. Oh, he is a gardener with a crazy streak. Waits until dark and kills guests in the hotel with his gardening shears. Just the same old same old.

    2. That is not true!

It's not so bad, though I have to admit I don't remember that much about it either.

Set in Africa. Based on a le Carré novel.

  4. Try Plan 9 From Outer Space, considered the worst film ever made. A few people i know have tried to watch it, no one makes it past about 10 minutes.

    1. We watched the whole thing, probably more than once (knowing my husband). Does that have Bela Lugosi? Poor guy.

      That is one horrible movie.

  5. I smiled at the titles. We haven't watched a movie in over 20 years. Probably my fault with my hearing. Of course we do not watch TV either, maybe an hour a year. LOL
But I do remember some bad ones. can't think of their names now
Love sent from the folks that live under a rock.
    Sherry & jack....

    1. Sometimes living under a rock is a good place, but not the best place. Get out there and watch some of these awfully horrible movies and laugh hardily.

Otherwise, get out on the road and rejoice. Your posts always make me smile.

  6. I can't even think of a clever comment on this one. Sorry.

  7. There are so many terrible movies out there, and most of them are blockbusters. The last really awful one I saw and had to stop because it was awful was "Book Club" featuring Jane Fonda.

    1. saw it, hated it. Basically, Jane Fonda makes any show awful.

  8. Geez I must have hated it to write awful in one sentence twice!

  9. I haven't heard of most of those, only Snakes on a Plane, but I haven't even seen that one. I've got plenty of other movies I prefer to watch.

    1. When we see the name Samuel L. Jackson, we will watch anything. Snaked on the Plane was funny after a few minutes.

  10. I've only heard of Snakes on a Plane, but have never seen any of these and for some reason, have no desire to, either. I'm grooving on PBS shows right now. They have some great series at the moment that are great. Examples: Season 3 of Frankie Drake Mysteries and Grantchester, Season 6, I think. Time is too precious to watch worthless when there are some great ones on tv.

    1. Hey, Sharknado was plain awful, but it had humor.

  12. I don't deliberately do bad movies. I know, they can be fun. Unless there's a hook (like, I can find a better story buried in there somewhere), I'm just annoyed.

  13. I’m impressed by hubby’s bad movie knowledge.
When growing up, out town was a magnet for bad movies.
2000 Maniacs was my favorite bad movie.

    1. My husband has been watching it and agrees. I watched part of each episode, and may end up watching the whole thing. It is well done. The title is peculiar.
