Take Me Out to the Ballgame!

Related image

It is that time of year.  Red Sox, Yankees, Blue Jays, Rays, and Orioles are battling it out as the American League Eastern, along with other parts of the country doing the same.

The fans are passionate, really passionate.  There are sports jerseys on fans of all ages and sizes.  Being clueless, I did not even know there was any sort of competition at all, except sport bars showed little else.

Baseball passion goes deep.

That's my boy!

Indeed, baseball passion runs deep and it also starts early.  Toddlers are the best of any team ever.

    1. Unfortunately your football/our soccer never became so popular here. We love watching it, my husband played in college.

We were in Switzerland during the World comp. It was awesome.

    1. Those babies are so thrilled to be playing. When they are strapped in their booster seats, they are exhausted.

  5. Dear Susan, oh, thank you so much for this morning laughter. How dedicated these little ones are. So intent on what they are doing. It's amazing to me what they are able to do at such a young age. I'm a real baseball fan and so It's great to see that young children are being encouraged to love the game also. And to play! Peace.

  6. Yeah, I'm not too enthused about baseball. Never have been. But that's cool. I don't begrudge those that love it.

    1. Baseball is a good sport to be involved in, instead of football. Both are promoted and kids play at a young age. Baseball is safer, involves parents.

    1. Gary! Good to see your name!!

Cricket is totally confusing. I truly have tried but my mind closes down. English son-in-law sighed heavily.

  9. I loved those videos. Having sat through many games, first with my four kids, who played every sport, and then my grandchildren whose main sport is soccer, I think I have given my all (including my aching back and posterior) to the games our children play.

    1. Oh the back and posterior! I feel your pain. But, you and I would not have missed seeing our babies play.

    1. T-Ball is really for close relatives, as they are the only ones who could stand it. I once watched my 6 yr old nephew at t-ball and he discovered he could run around the diamond two times. Precious.
