One Day More

It is Monday, November 7th, 2016. Tomorrow is Tuesday. Election coverage will be non-stop, intense, dissecting, and I will not watch it at all. After all the blood-letting, the televised advertisements will come to a blessed end.

This is James Corden's Karaoke in "his" Uber car service. There are several other karaoke episodes, all entertaining in their own way.

This time Corden's car holds major talent:

Lin-Manuel Miranda (writer/director/music/actor of the Broadway Award winning musical Hamilton), James Corden; back seat Jane Krakowski, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, and Audra McDonald.

One day more...

  4. Hi Susan - it's been ghastly ... so dreadful ... I just hope whoever wins can calm things down ...

I'd love to see Hamilton ... Lin-Manuel Miranda is going to be over here for the British production ... loved the clips I've seen .. cheers and good luck for tomorrow - Hilary

    1. Right now, tickets to see Hamilton are sometime $900 +. Lin-Manuel Miranda is brilliant.

  5. I can't wait for it to be over. I will not watch any election coverage either, but can't imagine how I'll sleep until I find out the outcome when I wake on Wednesday morning.

    1. I haven't watched the news for the past few days, and am wearing headphones now as I write. I remember the Bush-Gore election--last one I watched.

  8. I don't normally watch commercials. I DVR everything and zip through them. But the TV was on for some reason (in the background), and I got to hear a whole commercial break. All proposition ads. The entire commercial break. Yikes.

  10. Every one must vote.

I'm glad it's over and will find out Wednesday morning who our new Commander In Chief is.

Until then I will pray for God to influence the election for continued goodness in these United States.
