Sing a Song for Him

Dim Light
Source

Sing a song

for

Robert…

On a soft night in May,

What had begun, quietly ended.

Room dimly lit,

Shrank into darkness.

Hands held tightly

Unfold and fall.

Sing a song

for

Him.

My brother Robert Peck  1951 - 1997

    1. Even though Robert has been dead for 18 years now, every anniversary reminds me.

  3. Every anniversary, and sometimes out of the blue. Which makes me wonder whether they are thinking of us as well.
    Hugs.

    1. Grief and memories are always behind the curtain. For my brother, who was dying from a brain tumor, passing through the curtain was a blessing.

    1. He was born in Jan 1951 and I was born in Dec 1951. We were always into mischief together.
