I wonder if when this generation passes on, if the next can realize or honor what happened.

As I looked around at a class of 5th graders today, I realized they were all born since that day. I hope we're building a better world for them.
I do hope so. At least we can work at it. Surprisingly, 9/11 is seldom taught in schools. Many young people who were in elem. school do not know much about it.

My parents dealt with Pearl Harbor with the same mind. I wonder if there will always be such horrible events every few generations?
Always a hard day.
I know for sure that I will never forget, I remember crying for most of that awful day.
